Job Description – Production Technician Job Title: Production Technician Department: Production Section: Production Work Location: 10th of Ramadan Factory Direct Reporting: Production Supervisor / Shift Leader Job Objective Execute and monitor production processes according to the production plan and approved operational instructions, while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards and achieving production targets efficiently. Key Responsibilities and Tasks Operate and monitor production lines and machinery according to approved operating instructions. Execute production processes according to the production plan and target rates. Monitor machine performance and report any malfunctions or operational issues immediately. Ensure the availability of raw materials and components necessary for the production process before and during operation. Conduct initial operational checks and ensure the product meets the required specifications. Adhere to quality instructions and procedures during all stages of production. Record production data, quantities produced, downtime, and any observations related to the shift. Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and warehouse departments to solve production issues and improve workflow. Adhere to occupational safety, health, and security procedures and use personal protective equipment. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area and machinery according to 5S standards. Assist in machine changeover and setup processes according to product requirements and the production plan. Minimize waste and rework by adhering to operational instructions. Execute instructions from the production supervisor and shift leader within the limits of approved policies and procedures. Participate in activities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiency. Adhere to working hours, shift systems, and remain at the work site throughout the shift. Qualifications and Experience Intermediate or technical post-secondary qualification, preferably in industrial, mechanical, or electrical fields. 1–3 years of experience in the field of production or manufacturing, preferably in plastics or home appliance industries. Ability to handle machines and production lines. Ability to read and understand operating and production instructions. Willingness to work in a shift system. Basic proficiency in dealing with production logs and reports is preferred. Skills and Competencies Commitment and discipline. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to work in a team.
