Job Opening | Accountants with Hotel Wholesaler Experience
A company within J Gulf Group is seeking accountants to join its team in Egypt. Candidates must have hands-on accounting experience with a B2B hotel wholesaler or hotel distributor.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage client and supplier accounts and perform regular reconciliations
* Match hotel bookings against hotel and client invoices
* Monitor commissions, rates, foreign exchange differences, and credit notes
* Review cancellations, refunds, and unsettled transactions
* Track accounts receivable and payable, aging, and overdue balances
* Verify that booking system data matches invoices and accounting records
* Prepare account statements and periodic reports, and coordinate with the finance and operations teams
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
* Accounting experience with a hotel wholesaler, bedbank, or B2B hotel distributor
* Experience with client and supplier accounts and hotel booking reconciliations
* Proficiency in Excel and accounting or ERP systems
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle a high volume of transactions and reconciliations
* Good command of English
