We're currently seeking an IT Network & Security Engineer for a full-time on-site role. In this position, you will take ownership of our clients' network and security infrastructure, from routing and firewall management to protecting business data across Microsoft 365 environments. Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain client network infrastructure across Cisco, Aruba, and Fortinet environments, including BGP and OSPF routing for multi-site and multi-ISP connectivity.

• Administer FortiGate firewalls, covering security policies, VPNs, SD-WAN, intrusion prevention, and web filtering, to keep client environments protected and performing reliably.

• Strengthen clients' cyber security posture through regular audits, vulnerability assessments, system hardening, and timely incident response.

• Protect sensitive business data within Microsoft 365 / Office 365 by implementing Microsoft Purview, including data classification, sensitivity labels, Data Loss Prevention, and retention policies.

• Support clients in the safe adoption of AI tools by ensuring data access and governance are properly in place, and leverage AI-driven security solutions to enhance threat detection.

• Monitor network performance, resolve connectivity issues, and coordinate with ISPs and vendors when needed.

• Maintain accurate documentation of network and security configurations, and provide bi-monthly reports on network performance, security status, and performed activities.

Required Qualitifcations

• Solid understanding of networking protocols and routing in enterprise environments.

• Hands-on experience with next-generation firewalls and VPN configurations.

• Practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, security, and compliance tools.

• Knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD).

• Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as PRTG, SolarWinds, or Nagios.

Personal Skills

• Ability to self-study and keep pace with evolving technologies and security threats.

• Ability to troubleshoot new/unknown problems.

• Ability to work independently in projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 2–3 years of experience in network and security engineering.

• Ability to manage high-end clients and deliver exceptional service.

• Multitasking skills, capable of handling multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE/FCP, Microsoft security certifications, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
