Role Description The Senior BIM Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. The position is responsible for leading and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across multidisciplinary project teams. Daily tasks include coordinating BIM models for architectural and MEP disciplines, ensuring model accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project standards, and resolving design clashes through collaboration with designers and engineers. The Senior BIM Coordinator will oversee model setup, content development, and documentation workflows, and will support project managers with BIM-related scheduling, reporting, and deliverables. The role also involves training and guiding team members on BIM best practices, maintaining BIM execution plans, and contributing to continuous improvement of digital design processes.
Qualifications

• Strong BIM Coordination skills, including model integration, clash detection, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) platforms and tools, with the ability to manage complex project models.
• Background in Architecture or related building design disciplines, with solid understanding of construction standards and detailing.
• Experience with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) coordination within BIM environments, including systems layout and interface management.
• Project Management skills, including planning, prioritizing tasks, monitoring progress, and delivering BIM outputs to agreed timelines and quality.
• Advanced skills in relevant BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360 or similar collaboration platforms).
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and to lead coordination meetings effectively.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities, with a focus on model quality and data integrity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field; senior-level BIM coordination experience in building or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with international BIM standards and guidelines (e.g., ISO 19650 or similar) is an advantage.
