Forvis Mazars is hiring a Senior Cost Accountant to lead cost accounting activities, deliver accurate cost analysis and support business decision-making through insightful financial reporting and operational cost control.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage cost accounting processes across assigned entities and projects
• Prepare and analyse product, service and operational cost reports
• Monitor inventory valuation and ensure accurate cost allocations
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities
• Perform variance analysis and investigate cost discrepancies
• Develop budgets, forecasts and cost-control initiatives
• Partner with operational teams to improve profitability and efficiency
• Review accounting records and mentor junior finance team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in cost accounting, manufacturing accounting or a related finance role
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, IFRS and local accounting regulations
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CMA is a huge plus
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and a client-service mindset
