About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Architect with strong experience in architectural working drawings to join our team in Giza. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing precise, construction-ready drawing sets using Revit and AutoCAD, and will also have solid 3D modeling/visualization skills to support design development and presentation. You will work closely with the design and site teams to ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, and compliant with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Working Drawings: Prepare detailed architectural working drawings (plans, elevations, sections, details) for construction and execution phases.
- Revit & AutoCAD: Produce and manage drawing sets in Revit (BIM) and AutoCAD to company standards.
- 3D Modeling: Create 3D models and visualizations to support design development, presentations, and coordination.
- Shop Drawings & Detailing: Develop architectural details, shop drawings, and as-built drawings as required.
- Coordination: Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, and other disciplines to avoid clashes and ensure accuracy.
- Documentation: Maintain organized drawing files, revision control, and project documentation.
- Site Support: Review drawings against site conditions and respond to technical queries from the site team.
- Compliance: Ensure drawings comply with local codes, regulations, and project specifications.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
- Experience: Proven experience in architectural working drawings (portfolio/samples required).
- Software Skills:
- Proficiency in Revit (mandatory).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Strong 3D modeling/visualization skills (3ds Max, SketchUp, Lumion, or similar).
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of construction methods, detailing, and architectural drawing standards.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and precision in drawing production.
- Communication: Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Location: Must be able to work onsite in Giza.
Nice to Have
- Experience with BIM coordination (Navisworks).
- Knowledge of local Egyptian building codes.
- Photoshop / rendering post-production skills.
