Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead teams to support clients in solving energy storage design and optimization challenges for diverse use cases.

• Assist the application development team in enhancing the Energy Storage software platform to align with industry needs.

• Help utility companies and energy storage developers assess lifecycle performance and ROI.

• Stay updated on market trends, grid requirements, and energy market dynamics in wholesale and retail sectors.

• Model emerging energy storage technologies using data from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

• Deliver detailed reports, analyses, presentations, and other client-facing materials.

• Coordinate with OEMs, developers, and industry experts to manage and execute complex projects.

• Write technical white papers and technical articles on BESS Design topics.

• Mentor and review work of other Junior Engineers.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field, with a strong academic record.

• Experience with power system studies, including load flow, short circuit analysis, arc flash, protection, and harmonics.

• Experience in renewable energy system design.

• Proficiency in MATLAB or Python programming.

• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.

• A background in Electrical Power Engineering or renewable energy system design (solar, wind, or energy storage) is required.

Preferred Qualifications.

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

• Familiarity with PV modeling and simulation tools such as PVSyst.

• Strong organizational, technical writing, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team.

• Eagerness to learn and tackle new challenges.

• Thrive in fast-paced environments with a proactive mindset.
