Job Title: Paint Quality TechnicianDepartment: Quality / Total Quality Management (TQM)Job Objective:Inspect surface preparation and painting works, ensuring compliance with approved technical specifications, coating quality requirements, and corrosion protection standards.Tasks and Responsibilities:Inspect surfaces before painting and ensure readiness according to specifications.Inspect paint quality and detect defects, such as peeling, bubbles, color inconsistency, and uneven paint thickness.Ensure adherence to approved paint specifications and required coating layers.Measure paint layer thickness using specialized measuring devices, in accordance with inspection procedures.Verify surface cleanliness and environmental application conditions when required.Record inspection results and prepare defect and non-conformance reports.Follow up on the repair of paint defects and perform re-inspections.Ensure painted parts are protected from damage during manufacturing and assembly stages.Required Qualifications:Industrial technical diploma in paints, chemistry, mechanics, or a related industrial field.Experience in industrial paints or coating inspection is preferred.Familiarity with paint thickness measuring devices and surface inspection methods is preferred.
