Job Description “Safety Coordinator”• Assists with planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining a variety of Industrial health, safety, environmental programs to assure the highest possible degree of safety for employees. • Conduct and coordinate on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices. Responsible of all safety tasks at the different customers’ sites including the preparation of all the required documents.• Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace.• Conduct periodic safety and health walk-through inspections of all workplace facilities.• Ensure that quarterly safety training and all other specifically required training is provided for all employees. • Ensure that the program of occupational injuries and illnesses is maintained. • Conduct accident/injury investigations and illness exposure monitoring.• Conduct investigations into employee inquiries, suggestions and complaints.• Maintain required safety and health documents/files.• Ensure periodic inspections of all motorized vehicles.• Provide safety classes to each type or class of employee no less than quarterly.• Ensure the development, implementation and updating of required written safety and health programs and plans. These may include, as needed:a. Hazard Communication Program (osha safety certificate)b. Exposure Control Program c. Hazard Assessment and Personal Protective Equipment Program (PPE) d. Respiratory Protection Program e. Emergency Action Planf. Others ( Relevant)• Must have knowledge or training in the following: occupational health, safety and environmental compliance with applicable Laws, regulations and standards.Delivering hands on health, safety and environmental training.Ability to develop, implements, and coordinate comprehensive health and safety accident Prevention programs.Leading and directing teams and/or committees.Will be exposed some dusty and noisy conditions periodically.Must be able to work with other safety personnel in corresponding plants to meet Consistency.Must be able to perform above duties listed in the plant and plant office.Perform other duties as assigned by Project Manager.The Company is entitled to change the duties and obligations of the Employee when these changes by the Company are considered desirable in regard to the interests of the Company.Assists in planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining a variety of occupational health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure the highest possible level of safety for employees. Ensures the maintenance of the occupational injury and illness program. Conducts investigations into accidents/injuries and monitors illness exposure. Conducts investigations into employee inquiries, suggestions, and complaints. Maintains required safety and health documentation/files. Ensures periodic inspections of all motorized vehicles. Provides safety training sessions for each category of employees, at least once every three months. Ensures the development, implementation, and updating of required written safety and health programs and plans. These programs may include, as needed: a. Hazard Communication Program b. Exposure Control Program c. Hazard Assessment and Personal Protective Equipment Program d. Respiratory Protection Program e. Emergency Action Plan f. Others (relevant). Must possess knowledge or training in the following areas: occupational health and safety, and environmental compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Provides hands-on training in health, safety, and environment. Ability to develop, implement, and coordinate comprehensive health and safety accident prevention programs. Leads and directs teams and/or committees. Periodically exposed to some dusty and noisy conditions. Ability to work with other safety personnel in the respective plants to ensure consistency. Ability to perform the above duties in the plant and the plant office. Performs any other duties assigned by the Project Manager. The Company reserves the right to change the employee's duties and obligations when the Company deems such changes desirable in the interest of the company.
