Job Responsibilities:-

-Lead and supervise data-production, processing, cleansing, validation, transformation, and standardization activities across multiple data sources.

-Define and enforce data-production procedures, quality-control rules, validation criteria, and operational data-handling standards.

-Lead data-integration preparation activities, including source assessment, mapping, transformation requirements, reconciliation, and readiness for loading.

-Supervise multi-source data consolidation and ensure consistency, completeness, traceability, and quality of production outputs.

-Coordinate with database, application, integration, and external data-provider teams to resolve complex data and operational issues.

-Monitor production progress, review team outputs, manage priorities, and ensure timely and quality-compliant delivery of data-production activities.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.

• 10+ years of experience in data production, data integration, ETL/ELT development, or data engineering roles, including experience in a lead or senior technical capacity.

• Proven track record designing and delivering large-scale data integration and data production pipelines across heterogeneous source and target systems.

• Strong hands-on expertise with ETL/ELT tools and platforms (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Apache NiFi, or equivalent).

• Solid understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and database technologies (relational and NoSQL).

• Demonstrated experience with data quality management, data validation, reconciliation, and error-handling frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of integration patterns and technologies (APIs, message queues, batch processing, real-time/streaming integration such as Kafka).

• Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and data lakehouse architectures.

• Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting/programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Shell).

• Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and master/reference data management principles.

• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.

• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of data engineers/developers, review technical deliverables, and enforce coding and design standards.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with business analysts, data architects, and application teams to translate requirements into production-ready data solutions.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data production and integration issues under time pressure.

• Strong documentation skills, including data mapping specifications, integration designs, and operational runbooks.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., in specific ETL platforms, cloud data engineering, or data management) are a plus.

• Experience in government, public sector, or large enterprise environments is preferred.
