About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, organized, and customer-focused Home Services Virtual Assistant to support the daily operations of a home services business. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the plumbing industry, be comfortable managing service appointments and dispatching technicians, and have practical experience using Housecall Pro.

This role is ideal for someone who understands home services workflows and can keep scheduling, customer communication, and administrative tasks running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Communication: Handle incoming calls and customer inquiries professionally, providing timely information and assistance.

Scheduling & Dispatching: Schedule plumbing service appointments, coordinate technician availability, and dispatch technicians based on job requirements.

Housecall Pro Management: Use Housecall Pro to manage appointments, update customer records, maintain accurate job information, and track service schedules.

Customer Follow-Ups: Follow up with customers regarding appointments, service updates, and other relevant matters.

Service Coordination: Communicate with customers and field technicians to ensure smooth daily operations and minimize scheduling conflicts.

Administrative Support: Maintain organized records, update operational information, and assist with reports and other administrative tasks.

Workflow Management: Help ensure service requests are properly documented, scheduled, and followed through to completion.

Requirements

Previous hands-on experience in the plumbing industry or a home services business.

Practical experience using Housecall Pro is required.

Understanding of service scheduling, technician dispatching, and field service workflows.

Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize requests, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

A customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
