Role Description IB PYP, MYP, and DP Teachers at Evolution International School – NEWGIZA are responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with IB standards and school curriculum guidelines. In this full-time, on-site role located in Cairo, Egypt, teachers collaborate with colleagues to design units of inquiry, integrate interdisciplinary learning, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom culture. Daily responsibilities include differentiating instruction for diverse learners, monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records. Teachers participate in professional development, school events, and parent/guardian communication to support student growth and well-being. They also contribute to curriculum review, extracurricular activities, and wider school initiatives that strengthen the EVO community.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Education, with knowledge of IB PYP, MYP, and/or DP frameworks and contemporary pedagogical practices.
• Demonstrated Teaching and Training skills, including experience facilitating inquiry-based learning and differentiating instruction for diverse learners.
• Ability to create effective Lesson Planning that aligns with curriculum standards, assessment criteria, and the developmental needs of students.
• Excellent Communication skills for working collaboratively with colleagues, engaging with families, and supporting student voice and agency.
• Relevant teaching qualification and bachelor’s degree (or higher) in education or a related subject area; IB training or certification is an advantage.
• Experience teaching in international or multicultural school settings, with a commitment to inclusion, equity, and student well-being.
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills, with the ability to use educational technology to enhance learning.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional learning and contribute positively to the school community and its mission.
