Role Description The High School English Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. The teacher will design and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with curriculum standards, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills for high school students. Daily responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom instruction, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate grade and attendance records. The role involves differentiating instruction to support diverse learning needs, integrating projects and activities that build creativity and communication, and promoting the school’s values of respect, responsibility, and open-mindedness. The teacher will also participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development sessions, and collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of Experience in International Schools.
• Candidates should possess effective lesson planning and curriculum implementation skills to design clear, structured, and engaging learning experiences.
• Candidates should possess excellent communication and writing skills to support classroom instruction, feedback, and collaboration with students, families, and colleagues.
• Candidates should possess classroom management and student support skills, fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; a teaching certificate or license is preferred.
• English proficiency is a must.
• Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and commitment to continuous professional growth are highly valued.
