Role Description The English Teacher will deliver engaging, learner-centered English lessons to students at various proficiency levels in an on-site setting in Cairo, Egypt. This part-time role includes planning and preparing lessons that align with E-planet’s curricula and digital materials, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support language development. The teacher will create a positive, inclusive classroom environment, integrate technology and multimedia resources into lessons, and encourage active participation through interactive activities. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance, collaborating with academic coordinators and other teachers, and participating in occasional training sessions or meetings to support continuous improvement of teaching practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience instructing learners of different ages or levels.
• Candidates should possess Lesson Planning and Education skills to design structured, outcomes-focused lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to engage diverse learners.
• Relevant academic background in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; a teaching certificate (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) is an advantage.
• Experience with ELT materials, e-learning tools, and classroom technology, preferably in private language schools or similar environments.
• Strong classroom management abilities and a learner-focused, inclusive approach to teaching.
• Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, with flexibility to teach part-time hours, including possible afternoons or evenings.
• Prior experience teaching in North Africa or the Middle East, or familiarity with regional educational contexts, is beneficial but not required.
