We are looking for a senior Head of Quality, Food Safety & EHS to lead the transformation of our Quality, Food Safety and EHS functions at our manufacturing site in Alexandria.

The operation employs approximately 1400 people across 8 production buildings and is certified to FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.

Reporting to the COO/CAO, the role will initially assess the current organization and progressively build a stronger integrated Quality & EHS function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strengthen Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, hygiene and sanitation standards across the site.

• Lead and develop QA, QC and laboratory systems, including CAPA, product controls and non-conformance management.

• Lead and continuously improve FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems.

• Strengthen occupational safety, risk management, environmental compliance, fire safety and emergency preparedness.

• Assess, develop and expand the existing team and establish clear responsibilities, competencies and KPIs.

• Work closely with Production and Maintenance to embed ownership of Quality, Food Safety and Safety into daily operations.

• Develop and execute a practical transformation roadmap, including justified requirements for people, systems, infrastructure and investment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Food Science, Agriculture or a relevant technical field.

• 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in management.

• Strong Quality, Food Safety and EHS experience within manufacturing; food manufacturing is strongly preferred.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.

• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent OHS qualification required; Lead Auditor certification is preferred.

• Proven experience leading teams and improving or transforming Quality, Food Safety and/or EHS functions.

• Strong operational leadership with the ability to influence Production and Maintenance and maintain a visible shop-floor presence.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and change-management skills.

• Good command of Arabic and English.
