We’re Hiring | Senior Cost Accountant

We are looking for a highly experienced and analytical Senior Cost Accountant to join our finance team and play a key role in cost control, financial analysis, and improving operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing cost accounting experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures.
• Analyze and monitor production costs, including raw materials, labor, and manufacturing overhead.
• Calculate and analyze product costs, standard costs, and actual costs.
• Prepare cost reports, variance analysis, and profitability reports.
• Monitor material consumption, production waste, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Conduct cost variance analysis and investigate discrepancies between actual and budgeted costs.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure accurate cost data.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements to enhance profitability.
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation and proper allocation of manufacturing costs.
• Prepare financial reports and provide management with insights for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Cost Accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, and cost allocation methods.
• Proven experience in standard costing, variance analysis, and cost control.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
