Role Description The PET Preform Head of Production, is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza, responsible for overseeing all production activities in the PET preform injection department. This role manages daily production schedules, monitors machine performance, and ensures output meets quality, safety, and efficiency targets. The Head of Production leads and develops the production team, coordinates with maintenance, quality, and supply chain to minimize downtime and optimize material usage, and enforces adherence to operational standards and procedures. Daily tasks include reviewing production reports, adjusting plans in response to demand or technical issues, supervising shift leaders, and resolving production-related challenges in real time. The role also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, cost control efforts, and implementation of best practices in plastic injection operations. Qualifications Candidates should have at least 15 years of experience. Candidates should possess strong skills in Production Planning and Production Management to organize workflows, align capacity with demand, and ensure timely delivery of PET preforms. Candidates should possess solid Operations Management skills to oversee end-to-end production processes, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement. Candidates should possess effective Team Management capabilities to lead cross-functional production teams, coach supervisors, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration. Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to manage production costs, optimize resource utilization, and support financial targets for the manufacturing unit. Relevant experience in plastic injection molding, preferably PET preform production, including familiarity with injection machines, molds, and process settings. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in using production data and KPIs to make decisions and enhance performance. Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with quality, maintenance, planning, and procurement teams. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production, Industrial Management, or a related field, with several years of experience in a senior production leadership role.
