• The Electrical Quantity Surveying Senior Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo.

• The role involves preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for electrical works, verifying quantities, and coordinating with design and site teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

• The individual will monitor project costs, track variations, and support cost planning and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.

• Daily responsibilities include preparing cost reports, supporting tender evaluations, assisting in contract negotiations, and providing timely financial updates to project management.

• The role also requires close collaboration with engineering, procurement, and site teams to maintain cost efficiency and adherence to project schedules.

Requirements

• Previous experience with leading and reputable construction companies is required.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline

• Strong expertise in cost control and cost management for electrical construction projects.

• Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and updating BOQs for electrical systems and installations.

• Experience in cost planning and cost reporting, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

• Proven experience in quantity surveying or cost engineering within the construction or engineering sector.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards for electrical works.

• Advanced skills in MS Excel and relevant quantity surveying or cost management software.

• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
