Job Summary

Auto Truck Co. is looking for a highly experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer with more than 10 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance of plastic injection molding machines, industrial chillers, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and factory utilities.

The role is responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, breakdown repair, machine reliability, and reducing production downtime.

The ideal candidate must be technically strong, practical, and capable of working directly on machines and leading maintenance technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for plastic injection molding machines.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control problems.

• Diagnose breakdowns and restore production quickly.

• Maintain and troubleshoot:

  • Hydraulic pumps

  • Hydraulic valves

  • Cylinders

  • Pressure systems

  • Oil cooling systems

  • Lubrication systems

• Maintain electrical systems including:

  • Motors

  • Contactors

  • Relays

  • Sensors

  • Heaters

  • Temperature controllers

  • Limit switches

  • VFDs / Inverters

  • Control panels

• Troubleshoot machine functions including:

  • Clamping

  • Injection

  • Screw rotation

  • Plasticizing

  • Ejection

  • Mold opening and closing

  • Hydraulic pressure and speed

  • Heating zones

  • Temperature control

• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial chillers.

• Maintain compressors, pumps, condensers, evaporators, cooling circuits, and water circulation systems.

• Monitor cooling-water temperature, flow, and pressure.

• Diagnose refrigeration and cooling-system faults.

• Prepare and manage preventive maintenance schedules.

• Maintain detailed machine maintenance history.

• Analyze repeated breakdowns and implement permanent corrective actions.

• Reduce downtime and improve machine availability.

• Manage critical spare parts and maintenance stock.

• Coordinate maintenance activities with production.

• Support machine installation, relocation, commissioning, and upgrades.

• Lead and train maintenance technicians.

• Ensure maintenance activities follow safety procedures.

Requirements

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong hands-on experience with plastic injection molding machines.

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems.

• Strong practical experience with industrial chillers and refrigeration systems.

• Good knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, motors, heaters, sensors, and VFDs.

• Ability to read:

  • Hydraulic diagrams

  • Electrical diagrams

  • Machine manuals

  • Technical drawings

• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong leadership and team-management ability.

• Ability to work under pressure during machine breakdowns.
