• Review tax provisions and tax accounting entries

• Ensure accurate tax balances and reconciliations

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities

• Review tax disclosures within financial statements

• Ensure compliance with IFRS and local tax requirements

3. Indirect Tax Management:

• Manage VAT and other indirect tax filings

• Review tax invoices and supporting documentation

• Monitor input and output tax reconciliations

• Ensure proper tax treatment of transactions

• Support recovery of eligible tax credits

4. Corporate Tax Management:

• Prepare and review corporate income tax calculations

• Coordinate annual tax filings

• Monitor tax exposures and risks

• Support tax planning initiatives

• Ensure timely settlement of tax obligations

5. ERP Implementation and Process Improvement:

• Lead tax-related ERP implementation activities

• Ensure tax configurations are correctly established

• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Validate tax data migration

• Document tax procedures and controls

• Support tax automation initiatives

6. Tax Audits and Government Inspections:

• Coordinate tax audits and inspections

• Respond to tax authority inquiries

• Prepare supporting documentation for audits

• Monitor audit findings and corrective actions

• Manage tax disputes when required

7. Internal Controls and Risk Management:

• Implement tax controls and compliance reviews

• Monitor tax-related risks

• Ensure compliance with company policies

• Maintain adequate supporting documentation

• Support internal and external audit requirements

8. Team Leadership and Development:

• Supervise tax team activities

• Allocate workloads and responsibilities

• Conduct performance evaluations

• Provide coaching and technical guidance

• Promote continuous learning and development
