Company Description Menatours is a premium travel services company operating through three main business segments across 19 offices in Egypt. Under the “Egypt Deluxe” brand, the Incoming Travel segment provides comprehensive services for individuals and groups visiting Egypt and the region. The Corporate Business segment supports Egyptian companies with professional travel management and 24/7 assistance. The Outbound Travel segment designs creative, luxury trips and journeys abroad for Egyptian travelers. This structure enables Menatours to offer tailored, high-quality travel solutions to a wide range of clients.
Role Description The Outgoing Tourism Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, responsible for designing and selling international travel packages for individual and group travelers. The role includes consulting with clients to understand their preferences and budgets, recommending destinations and itineraries, and arranging flights, hotels, tours, and transfers. The specialist will prepare quotations, manage bookings, handle changes or cancellations, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance with travel regulations. Daily tasks also involve coordinating with international partners and suppliers, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of global destinations and travel trends, and providing responsive, professional customer service before, during, and after trips. The role requires close collaboration with colleagues in sales, operations, and finance to support smooth trip execution and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Strong customer service and client relationship skills, including the ability to understand traveler needs, provide clear guidance, and handle inquiries and complaints professionally. Sales and negotiation abilities, with experience in promoting travel packages, preparing offers, upselling services, and meeting individual or team sales targets. Organizational and administrative skills, including attention to detail, accurate documentation, and effective management of multiple bookings and deadlines. Communication skills in English and Arabic, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with clients, suppliers, and international partners. Familiarity with travel booking systems, GDS platforms, or tour operating tools, and proficiency in common office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing). Knowledge of international destinations, visa and travel requirements, and current tourism trends, especially for popular outbound markets. Ability to work on-site in Cairo in a fast-paced environment, collaborate in a team, and adapt to changing client requests or travel conditions. Previous experience in outbound tourism, travel agencies, or tour operations is highly desirable; a relevant degree or diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is an advantage.
