Senusret Maritime Group S. A. E. is seeking an experienced, commercially driven Bunker Trader to join our growing team.
The successful candidate must have an active network of clients and a proven ability to generate bunker enquiries and secure profitable business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate bunker enquiries through an existing network of shipowners, ship managers, charterers, brokers and bunker buyers.• Handle enquiries and prepare competitive quotations for marine fuels, including MGO, LSMGO, VLSFO and HSFO.• Source products and negotiate prices, credit terms and supply conditions with approved physical suppliers and traders.• Develop and manage strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.• Monitor bunker prices and market developments across Egyptian and regional ports.• Coordinate with suppliers, agents, vessels and operations teams to ensure timely and smooth deliveries.• Manage enquiries from initial quotation through confirmation, delivery, invoicing and payment collection.• Maintain accurate records of quotations, confirmations, margins and completed supplies.• Identify new commercial opportunities and contribute to expanding the company’s bunker business.• Achieve agreed sales and profitability targets.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in bunker trading or marine fuel supply is essential.• An active client network within the shipping and bunkering industry.• Proven ability to generate enquiries, secure orders and bring profitable business.• Good understanding of marine fuel grades, bunker terminology and supply procedures.• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills.• Good command of written and spoken English.• Ability to work independently, respond promptly and manage urgent enquiries.
Location: Alexandria, Egypt Work Arrangement: Flexible — office-based, hybrid or remote working may be considered depending on the candidate’s experience, location, client portfolio and ability to generate business. Employment Type: Full-time Compensation: Competitive salary plus an attractive performance-based commission.
