Head of Debt Management Service | Casablanca (Morocco)

Job :

The Head of Debt Management Service is responsible for leading, coordinating, and overseeing all activities related to debt management, in compliance with regulatory frameworks and strategic guidelines. They ensure the sustainability of the debt, the optimization of financing costs, and the quality of the financial information produced.

Activities:

• Ensure the monitoring, analysis, and control of the debt portfolio
• Identify short, medium, and long-term needs; determine the optimal balance between equity and debt
• Supervise borrowing, repayment, and refinancing operations
• Produce dashboards, periodic reports, and forward-looking analyses on indebtedness
• Ensure compliance with contractual commitments and regulatory obligations
• Contribute to budget preparation and treasury forecasts related to debt
• Coordinate with financial partners, national and international institutions
• Ensure the administrative management of loan contracts and strict adherence to schedules
  

Required profile :

MANDATORY academic training:

• State-recognized BAC+5 diploma from a top business school or a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit and Management Control, Economics, or equivalent
• A specialization in public finance, financial engineering, or debt management is an advantage

Professional experience:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in finance, financial management, or debt management
• Experience in the public sector or financial institutions is highly desirable

Required skills:

• Knowledge of debt management, public finance, and financial markets
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools
• Ability for analysis, synthesis, and strategic decision-making
• Rigor, organizational skills, and adherence to deadlines
• Good written and oral communication skills
