Job description

Job Purpose

To plan, schedule, and monitor the company’s transport operations so that products, live birds, feed, and materials are delivered on time, safely, and in line with food safety and biosecurity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily trips and routes for the fleet: refrigerated trucks, live bird transport, feed trucks, and distribution vehicles.
• Assign drivers and vehicles, and follow up on trip execution until delivery is complete.
• Monitor vehicles through GPS/telematics systems and act on delays, route deviations, or incidents.
• Make sure refrigerated vehicles maintain the required temperatures to protect the cold chain.
• Coordinate with production, sales, warehouses, and farms on loading and delivery schedules.
• Follow up on preventive maintenance schedules with the workshop to reduce vehicle downtime.
• Track fuel consumption, mileage, and trip costs, and prepare daily and monthly reports.
• Keep vehicle documents, insurance, registrations (Istimara), and driver licenses valid and up to date.
• Enforce safety, traffic, and biosecurity procedures among drivers.
• Handle traffic violations, accidents, and related reporting with the relevant parties.
