Job description
A Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing business and system requirements and translating them into clear functional and technical specifications. The role includes studying current systems, evaluating their performance, identifying issues and gaps, and proposing suitable solutions. Responsibilities also involve gathering and analyzing user requirements, documenting them accurately, preparing system analysis reports, and coordinating with development teams to ensure effective implementation of requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and system requirements and convert them into clear functional and technical specifications.
- Study current systems, assess their performance, identify issues and operational gaps, and propose appropriate solutions.
- Gather and analyze user requirements, documenting them accurately.
- Prepare system analysis reports and ensure compliance with operational needs.
- Coordinate with development teams to ensure effective implementation of requirements.
- Analyze system-related issues and identify root causes, proposing suitable solutions.
- Participate in system design and development, enhancing system functionality.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards and procedures.
Skills
• Strong knowledge of system analysis and design methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Familiarity with database concepts and SQL query language.
• Understanding of system integration principles and application programming interfaces (APIs).
• Ability to prepare technical documentation and workflow diagrams.
• Knowledge of system testing methodologies and validation against requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate with technical and management teams.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and organize documentation related to systems.
• Ability to work within a team and manage tasks according to priorities and specified timelines.
