Job description

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Civil Senior Engineer to join thier team in Riyadh.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring all specifications, technical requirements, and quality standards are met.
  
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate civil engineering components into overall project designs.
  
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality benchmarks throughout project phases.
  
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, verify work quality, and ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
  
• Review and approve technical documentation, including drawings, plans, and calculations, ensuring accuracy and completeness prior to implementation.
  
• Evaluate design alternatives and recommend cost-effective, high-performance, and constructible solutions.
  
• Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, project timelines, and safety requirements.
  
• Manage and coordinate site teams to optimize resource allocation, minimize delays, and maintain operational efficiency.
  
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities while ensuring quality and safety are not compromised.
  
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, environmental, and safety standards throughout project execution.
  
• Conduct risk assessments and feasibility analyses to identify potential challenges and implement mitigation strategies proactively
  
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality objectives
  
• Prepare and present detailed progress reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and scope variations.
  

Requirements• Has experience in stadiums
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.

• Experience managing teams, overseeing technical aspects of design and construction, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.

• Additional certifications in project management, safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA), or quality control (e.g., Six Sigma) are beneficial.

• Advanced knowledge of civil engineering design, construction, and materials

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Expertise in project planning and resource allocation

• Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit)

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations

• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and quality standards

• Experience with contract management and negotiations
