Role Description The Periodontist role at Asen Dental Clinics is a part-time, on-site position based in Jeddah. The Periodontist will diagnose and treat periodontal diseases, develop individualized treatment plans, and perform non-surgical and surgical periodontal procedures. Responsibilities include placing and restoring dental implants, collaborating with other dental specialists on complex cases, and providing patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical records, adhering to evidence-based protocols, and contributing to the clinic’s high standards of safety, quality, and patient experience.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge and clinical skills in dentistry and dental care.
- Expertise in periodontics with relevant experience in medicine as it relates to oral health.
- Proficiency in oral surgery procedures, including periodontal surgery and related interventions.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, placing, and managing dental implants.
- Recognized dental degree and specialization in periodontics; valid license/registration to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, high standards of infection control, and patient safety.
- Effective communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to participate in continuous learning, case discussions, and clinical improvement initiatives.
