Job description

Main Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and guide them to their tables in a courteous manner

• Present the menu and explain dishes and beverages, clarifying ingredients and food allergies when necessary

• Inform guests about daily specials and make recommendations

• Accurately take orders and input them into the Point of Sale (POS) system

• Serve orders in a timely manner and according to established service standards

• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the visit and handle feedback professionally

• Issue bills and process payments (cash and card)

• Clear used dishes and set up tables before and after service

• Maintain cleanliness in the service area and adhere to hygiene and food safety standards

• Coordinate with the bar and kitchen team to ensure smooth service

Skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work under pressure and serve multiple tables during peak times

• Attention to detail and good memory for remembering orders and guest preferences

• Proficiency in handling cash transactions and issuing bills

• Skill in making recommendations to guests and upselling

• Ability to work as part of a team and coordinate with bar and kitchen staff

• Proficiency in both Arabic and English
