About the Role

Platinum Sands Company is looking for an Accountant to join its team in Riyadh. The job incumbent will be responsible for preparing and organizing financial documents, tracking revenue, recording accounting transactions, and preparing necessary financial reports. This role is full-time and requires 0 to 1 year of experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize, and document disbursement documents and follow up on their auditing and approval by authorized regulatory bodies.
• Follow up on revenue collection, documentation, and periodic analysis.
• Prepare accounting entries and record financial transactions in accounting ledgers.
• Audit bank accounts and prepare necessary reconciliations along with monthly bank statements.
• Monitor current and capital expenditures in compliance with the monthly financial position of budget items.
• Prepare the financial position and monthly summaries, in addition to preparing and organizing annual final accounts.
• Prepare specialized documents and reports related to expenses and revenues and store them in the designated database.

Development of Accounting Methods

The accountant in this role is expected to contribute to the development of accounting methods and procedures followed by the company. This includes keeping pace with scientific and technical advancements in the field of accounting to ensure the application of best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0 to 1 year of experience in the accounting field.
• Ability to audit financial claims and ensure the completeness of their legal and financial requirements.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The accountant will work within a financial team to support the company's accounting operations.
