Role Description :

The Senior Accountant will support and oversee the accounting activities of AlNassr Club Company, ensuring accurate financial records, timely financial reporting, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. The role is responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reconciliations and reports, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and maintaining effective financial controls to support the Company’s financial operations and objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

· Review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and accounting schedules for accuracy and appropriate support.

· Coordinate general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and related accounting activities.

· Lead assigned month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing tasks and ensure deadlines are achieved.

· Investigate variances, aged balances, and reconciling items and drive timely resolution with relevant owners.

· Review balance sheet reconciliations and maintain clear evidence of review and follow-up.

· Support preparation of financial statements, management reports, audit schedules, and regulatory submissions.

· Apply IFRS, approved accounting policies, chart-of-accounts rules, and internal controls consistently.

· Support external and internal audits and coordinate responses to information requests and findings.

· Provide coaching, task allocation, and technical guidance to accountants.

· Monitor transaction quality and recommend control, workflow, and system improvements.

· Support ERP enhancements, master-data integrity, and finance process automation.

Coordinate with business teams to ensure correct accounting treatment for contracts, projects, revenue, and expenditure.

Education:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is preferred.

Experience:

· 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience.

· Strong exposure to general ledger, financial close, reconciliations, and reporting.

Experience supervising or coaching accounting staff is preferred.

Skills:

· IFRS and financial reporting knowledge.

· Review, analysis, and problem solving.

· Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency.

· Team coordination and coaching.

Strong written and verbal communication.
