The Role of Inspection Supervisor

JD Logistics is seeking an Inspection Supervisor to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role involves leading operational inspections and audits across various business functions and countries in the Middle East. The supervisor will be responsible for identifying operational gaps, managing corrective actions, and strengthening risk prevention mechanisms to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead operational inspections and special audits across Middle East countries and business functions.
• Conduct on-site assessments to identify gaps in operational management, process execution, and compliance with established standards.
• Establish and manage a structured inspection and corrective action mechanism, ensuring issues are assigned, tracked, rectified, and validated for effective closure and continuous improvement.
• Identify operational risks, management gaps, and control weaknesses.
• Strengthen operational oversight and risk prevention mechanisms to ensure effective implementation of operational standards, policies, and procedures.
• Drive cross-functional process improvements and management enhancements based on inspection findings.
• Promote standardized operations, improved efficiency, and consistent execution across the region.
• Prepare regular operational inspection reports, analyze recurring issues and management gaps, and develop improvement plans.
• Promote best practices across countries and business teams.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations and management processes.
• Proven capabilities in on-site inspection, issue identification, risk analysis, and process optimization.
• Ability to independently conduct operational inspections and drive corrective actions.
• Strong cross-functional coordination and project execution skills.
• Ability to independently develop inspection plans, drive corrective actions, and evaluate improvement results.
• Strong analytical, data analysis, and reporting skills.
• Demonstrated sound judgment, a strong sense of accountability, and a results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to independently manage regional operational supervision activities.
