Job description:

One of our clients are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for construction and real estate projects. The successful candidate will manage sourcing, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and purchasing processes to ensure materials and services are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and provide value for money.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and company objectives.
• Manage end-to-end procurement for construction materials, equipment, subcontracting, and professional services.
• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
• Lead tendering, bid analysis, supplier negotiations, and contract award processes.
• Review purchase requisitions, specifications, BOQs, and project schedules to plan procurement activities.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, quality, and compliance with contractual terms.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, finance, and operations teams to address procurement needs.
• Maintain procurement records, contracts, cost analyses, and supplier databases.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, manage risks, and improve procurement processes.
• Ensure procurement activities follow company policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, including experience as a Procurement Manager or in a senior procurement role.
• Strong background in the construction and/or real estate sectors is required.
• Experience sourcing construction materials, equipment, subcontractors, and project-related services.
• Demonstrated skills in tender management, contract negotiation, and supplier evaluation.
• Strong commercial, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement or ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with project teams.
