About the Role
Baazeem Trading Company is seeking a Key Account Manager to manage and expand key accounts within the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia, specifically in Dammam. This full-time role requires an experienced professional with a strong background in FMCG distribution and modern trade operations to drive commercial performance and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute key account strategies to meet sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Manage relationships with major modern trade customers and key retail chains.
- Lead annual business negotiations, commercial agreements, promotional plans, and joint business planning (JBP).
- Monitor sales performance, trade spending, customer profitability, and collections.
- Identify business growth opportunities and improve market share.
- Ensure effective execution of promotional activities, product availability, and merchandising standards.
- Collaborate with sales, supply chain, finance, and category management teams.
- Prepare sales forecasts, account performance reports, and business reviews.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of FMCG sales experience, with at least 3 years specifically in Key Account Management.
- Proven experience managing modern trade accounts and major retail chains.
- Strong knowledge of the Eastern Region FMCG market.
- Demonstrated success in customer negotiations, revenue growth, and profitability management.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical skills.
- Effective negotiation skills.
- Proficient relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and sales reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with national and regional modern trade chains.
- Existing professional relationships with key retail customers in the Eastern Region.
- Experience managing trade promotions, customer budgets, and commercial agreements.
Work Location
This position is based in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
