Main Mission:

• The Furniture Designer is responsible for designing and developing models of domestic and professional furniture (bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, dressing rooms, living rooms, office furniture, etc.). Their role consists of combining aesthetics, functionality and technical feasibility while ensuring that designs are optimized according to production capacities and customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities and Activities

• Design and develop furniture models in line with market trends and customer needs.
• Develop technical plans, sketches and 3D renderings.
• Select the materials and define the finishes adapted to the projects.
• Optimize designs to ensure their industrial feasibility while controlling costs.
• Collaborating with production teams to ensure the successful manufacturing of prototypes and industrial series.
• Verify the conformity of products before their industrialization.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
• Monitor trends in furniture design and propose innovations.
• Integrate the principles of sustainability and co-design into the creation of models.
• Oversee the creation of prototypes and adjust designs as needed.
• Participate in the presentation of collections and models to clients and management.

Required Technical Skills

• Proficiency in 3D design and modeling software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, SWOOD, etc.).
• Good knowledge of materials and furniture manufacturing techniques.
• Understanding of industrial constraints and mass production processes.
• Ability to create models and prototypes.
