• Define the maintenance strategy and policy: program, methods, organization, maintenance cycles
• Arbitrating and negotiating subcontracting agreements
• Oversee preventive, corrective and curative maintenance (including subcontracting) to ensure a better availability rate of operating equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations, operational safety (adapting instructions and maintenance procedures) and maintaining technical and regulatory monitoring
• Managing the implementation of the maintenance policy into a maintenance plan
• Monitor and analyze the results of your activity using performance indicators. Decide, where necessary, on any corrective measures and improvements required.
• To carry out the operational management of human resources, including skills development.
• Ensuring good managerial practices within maintenance teams
• Monitor, ensure compliance with and optimize the maintenance budget for spare parts, subcontracting and investments
• Track spare parts purchases, subcontracting, and services
• Managing the interfaces between operation, maintenance, and risk management

Desired Candidate Profile

• Higher education (Academic diploma) in a technical field
• Ten (10) years of experience, including five (05) years as maintenance manager
• Experience in developing and managing a maintenance policy, equipment and infrastructure management
• Job-specific training
• Fluent in French and Arabic
• Skills in explaining the rationale behind regulations
• Electrical authorization for non-electrician personnel
• Authorization to travel on the roads
• Having a sense of responsibility and service
• Ability to manage a team
