Role Summary

The Senior Travel Consultant will provide high-level travel consulting services for NASCO SAEs outgoing and corporate clients. The role uses Global Distribution Systems (Sabre and Amadeus) to design and sell tailored travel packages achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service. The consultant advises clients on travel options handles bookings responds to inquiries and ensures all information and documentation is accurate. Availability 24/7 and proficiency with travel systems are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilise Sabre and Amadeus systems to create price and manage itineraries.
  

• Meet and exceed sales targets for outgoing and corporate clients.
  

• Design tailored packages for outgoing or corporate clients to ensure memorable vacations.
  

• Sell travel products and services using persuasive arguments to clients.
  

• Counsel clients on their various travel choices and explain differences between available options.
  

• Deal directly with clients over the phone and respond promptly to inquiries.
  

• Oversee the booking procedure to ensure accurate processing.
  

• Obtain and evaluate relevant information to handle travel requests efficiently.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in travel consulting or related roles.
  

• Graduate of a tourism higher institute or university.
  

• ECDL diploma holder.
  

• IATA diploma is considered an asset.
  

• Excellent command of the English language.
  

• Availability 24/7.
  

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of experience in travel consulting.

Education Required: Graduate of a tourism higher institute or university; ECDL diploma; IATA diploma (asset).

Languages Required: Excellent command of English.
