As they continue to scale operations they are looking for a dedicated Senior Cost Accountant to support financial transparency and operational efficiency across their production and distribution channels.

Senior Cost Accountant

Job Summary:

The Senior Cost Accountant will play a vital role in managing cost accounting functions preparing accurate financial analyses and supporting decisionmaking across production and supply chain operations. This position requires deep knowledge of manufacturing cost structures attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed cost analysis for raw materials labor and overheads.
• Maintain standard costs and update as necessary based on production trends and changes.
• Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
• Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to ensure accurate cost capturing.
• Review inventory valuations track variances and investigate discrepancies.
• Support monthly quarterly and annual financial closings and reporting cycles.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide actionable insights to management for cost optimization and margin improvement.
• Support audits and internal reviews by preparing necessary documentation and analysis.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related discipline (CMA preferred).
• 35 years of experience in cost accounting ideally within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sectors.
• Solid understanding of standard costing cost variance analysis and inventory accounting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP Oracle) and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate financial data effectively to nonfinance stakeholders.
• Fluency in English (very good to excellent).
