• Coordinate the shipment of goods to international markets and oversee transport and shipping arrangements, including containerization and customs procedures.

• Ensure shipments are prepared in compliance with the standards of destination countries or countries of origin.

• Execute operational procedures for import and export activities, such as letters of credit, bank transfers, and insurance documentation.

• Prepare and verify the completeness of necessary import/export documentation (e.g., commercial invoices, certificates of origin, bills of lading, packing lists).

• Coordinate with stakeholders and intermediaries—including banks and transport companies—to ensure the secure delivery of goods to designated locations within agreed-upon timeframes.

• Receive customer orders and review them for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Accurately record customer orders in the system and verify product specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules.

• Coordinate with customs brokers, classify goods, and oversee the payment of duties and taxes to ensure expedited customs clearance.

• Demonstrate proficiency in using the "Single Window" system and preparing "Form 4."

• Ensure documentation complies with the legal and customs requirements of both destination countries and countries of origin.

• Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs authorities to ensure smooth operational workflows. -

• Prepare periodic reports on export and import operations and propose improvements to logistics strategies to enhance efficiency.

• Build strong relationships with international clients and handle inquiries and requests related to exports and imports.

• Act as a primary liaison between clients and the manufacturing facility, providing order updates and resolving any issues or obstacles.

• Monitor outstanding client balances and receivables, ensuring timely collection.

• Monitor outstanding payables to international suppliers and ensure timely settlement.

• Stay updated on export, import, and international trade laws to ensure compliance, and track changes in international regulations and policies that may impact export operations.

• Periodically monitor shipping lines and track the status of shipments and goods.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business

• 5 years experience in Export & Import management

• Experience in grains, herbs, and spices or agricultural commodities

• Experience in Export & Import processes

• Proficiency in working with the import window for issuing ACID

• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills

• Knowledge of international trade regulations and incoterms

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Proven skills in Customer Service and effective communication

• Knowledge of Ocean freight and management of international shipping activities

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and logistics procedures is an advantage

• Fluent in English (Mandatory)
