Job Purpose:

The role is responsible for overseeing all governmental processes related to land acquisition, licensing, permits, and project approvals, while facilitating smooth coordination with relevant entities to support project timelines and business continuity.

Job Description:

• Lead all communications and engagements with governmental, municipal, and regulatory authorities relevant to real estate development.
• Develop and implement government relations strategies supporting licensing, zoning, land allocation, permitting, and project approvals.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on legislative, regulatory, and policy developments impacting real estate, construction and urban planning.
• Identify, assess and escalate regulatory, political, and governmental risks affecting projects.
• Prepare accurate reports on approval status, regulatory timeliness, and government positions.
• Maintain complete and auditable records of all government communications and submissions.
• Managing contracts and connections with state-owned providers for water, electricity, swage, an telecommunications for massive development sites.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor`s degree of Business Administration or any relevant field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in Real Estate Developer or Construction field.
• Experience in issuing construction licenses.
• Dealing with all governmental authorities such as: New Urban Communities Authority, New Cities Institutes.
• Deep knowledge of building code, investment laws, urban community regulations (e.g. NUCA in Egypt) and real estate registration laws.
• Extensive experience in obtaining building permits, certificates of validity, excavation permits, and civil defense (fie & safety) and environmental approvals.
• Proficiency in using digital government platforms (e-portals for licensing) which have become the standard for processing official transactions.
