Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Associate Manual Software Tester to join our dynamic QA team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. You will work closely with developers and product managers to identify bugs, verify fixes, and ensure our final products meet the highest industry standards before they reach our users.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements and technical specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Perform thorough manual testing across various platforms, including web and mobile applications.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Document, track, and report software defects using industry-standard bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and verify software resolutions.
• Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups to provide updates on testing progress and potential risks.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Demonstrated experience in writing clear, concise, and detailed test cases and bug reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, or TestRail).
• Knowledge of database querying (SQL) to verify data integrity.
• Understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
