We are seeking a qualified Finance Manager – F&B to oversee financial performance, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis across our Food & Beverage operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in F&B P&L management, financial reporting, management accounting, cost control, and variance analysis, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with operational teams to improve revenue, margins, and overall business performance.

Responsibilities

● Manage and analyze F&B profit and loss statements.

● Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses, including actual results versus budget and the previous year.

● Analyze revenue performance, sales trends, covers, average check, sales mix, and outlet profitability.

● Monitor and control food costs, beverage costs, inventory, purchasing, consumption, waste, portion control, and operational variances.

● Analyze gross profit, departmental profit, prime cost, and key profitability drivers.

● Monitor and control operating expenses, including labor, overtime, utilities, maintenance, cleaning, consumables, and equipment expenses.

● Review inventory reports, stock movements, physical counts, and discrepancies.

● Investigate financial variances, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.

● Develop and implement action plans to improve margins, reduce waste, and control unnecessary costs.

● Support annual budgeting, business planning, forecasting, and financial target setting.

● Prepare financial dashboards and KPI reports for management review.

● Provide accurate financial insights and recommendations to F&B management.

● Partner with Operations, Kitchen, Purchasing, and Store teams to improve financial controls and business performance.

● Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and financial procedures.

Requirements

  ● Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.

  ● At least five years of progressive finance or accounting experience, preferably within the F&B, hospitality, restaurant, or hotel industry.

  ● Proven experience in F&B cost control, P&L analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.

  ● Strong knowledge of food cost, beverage cost, labor cost, prime cost, inventory control, and gross profit analysis.

  ● Excellent analytical, numerical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  ● Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, formulas, and financial analysis.

  ● Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, POS systems, and financial reporting systems.

  ● Strong attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines.

  ● Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

  ● Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and operational teams.

  Preferred Qualifications

  ● Experience managing multiple F&B outlets, restaurants, cafés, catering operations, or hotel departments.

  ● Professional certification such as CMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is an advantage.

  ● Experience with inventory management systems, recipe costing, menu engineering, and theoretical versus actual cost analysis.
