We are looking for a technically strong manager to lead the design and integration of comprehensive physical security solutions across major projects, while managing specialized engineering teams and ensuring high-quality, compliant and scalable security systems.

JOB PURPOSE

Lead the design, development and integration of Physical Security Solutions across company projects.

The role oversees the technical design of:

CCTV & Video Surveillance

Access Control Systems

Intrusion Detection

Perimeter Protection

Security Management Platforms

Command & Control / Control Room Integration

The position will lead specialized security engineers, validate technical solutions, ensure design quality and compliance, and coordinate closely with ELV, ICT, AV and BMS disciplines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design Leadership & Governance

· Lead and supervise the design of physical security systems across multiple projects.

· Review and validate technical designs, system architecture, schematics, layouts and BOQs.

· Ensure all design deliverables comply with project specifications, client requirements, applicable regulations and company QA/QC standards.

· Establish and maintain design standards and technical best practices.

Technical Design & Integration

· Lead the design and integration of CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection and Perimeter Security systems.

· Ensure seamless integration between security systems and ICT, ELV, AV and BMS platforms.

· Review system architecture, equipment selection, technical specifications and product compatibility.

· Evaluate security technologies and recommend reliable, scalable and future-ready solutions.

Requirements & Scope Management

· Lead requirement gathering and scope validation with clients and consultants.

· Translate project requirements into practical technical solutions.

· Identify scope gaps, technical risks and integration dependencies.

· Ensure designs remain aligned with contractual and project requirements.

Technical & Commercial Support

· Review technical proposals, BOQs, system schematics and design documentation.

· Support tendering and proposal activities with technically sound and commercially competitive solutions.

· Evaluate vendors, manufacturers and security products.

· Support value engineering and identify cost-effective alternatives without compromising security performance or quality.

Client & Consultant Coordination

· Represent the security design team in technical meetings.

· Present design concepts and technical solutions to clients and consultants.

· Respond to consultant comments and technical clarifications.

· Support the team in achieving timely design approvals.

Implementation & Commissioning Support

· Provide technical support and clarifications during project execution.

· Support testing and commissioning strategies.

· Ensure consistency between approved designs and site implementation.

· Assist in resolving technical issues during implementation.

Team Leadership

· Lead and mentor Perimeter Security and Security Systems Leads.

· Allocate workloads and monitor team performance.

· Support the professional development of security engineers.

· Ensure consistent application of technical standards and design practices.

REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

· 5–7 years of total relevant experience in Physical Security / ELV / Security Systems Design.

· Strong hands-on experience in CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection and Perimeter Protection.

· Experience in Physical Security System Design & Integration.

· Experience with Video Management and Security Analytics Platforms.

· Strong understanding of security system architecture, schematics and BOQs.

· Experience in security risk assessment and mitigation methodologies.

· Experience with Security Networks and Control Room Design.

· Knowledge of applicable international standards and requirements such as UL, EN and SASO.

· Experience with BIM/Revit for security systems is required.

· GCC / Middle East project experience is highly preferred.

· Strong English communication skills.

· Arabic is an advantage.

· MBA is preferred.
