Role Description The Accounting Manager will oversee all accounting operations for real estate projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with local regulations and company policies. This full-time, on-site role in Cairo, Egypt includes managing general ledger activities, preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and supervising journal entries and closing processes. The role involves monitoring fixed assets and project-related costs, reconciling accounts, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. The Accounting Manager will coordinate with project management, finance, and HR teams to provide financial insights, support audits, and implement internal controls. The position also requires mentoring junior accounting staff and contributing to continuous improvement of accounting systems and procedures aligned with organizational growth.
Qualifications

• Strong financial reporting capabilities, including experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements.
• Solid foundation in accounting operations, including Journal Entries (Accounting) and general ledger management.
• Relevant Finance expertise, particularly in budgeting, forecasting, and project-based financial analysis.
• Experience managing Fixed Assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and asset registers.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and supporting decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or senior accountant, preferably in the real estate or construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is beneficial.
• Ability to lead and develop a team, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
