Key Accountabilities:

1. Production Planning & Control

• Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans according to demand and stock levels.

• Monitor production KPIs and take corrective actions when needed.

• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.

2. Operations & Process Management

• Oversee all production lines and ensure smooth workflow throughout all shifts.

• Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.

• Ensure adherence to SOPs and production standards.

3. Quality & Compliance

• Coordinate closely with the Quality Department to ensure products meet specifications.

• Identify quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Ensure compliance with ISO, safety, and internal quality standards.

4. Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise production supervisors, shift leaders, and production staff.

• Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations.

• Ensure discipline, attendance, and proper shift arrangements.

5. Maintenance Coordination

• Coordinate with Maintenance Department to schedule preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Ensure maximum machine uptime and minimal production interruptions.

6. Safety & Housekeeping

• Ensure full compliance with safety rules and HSE policies within the production area.

• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

• Promote a clean, organized, and safe production environment.

7. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports.

• Track consumption of raw materials and report deviations.

Maintain documentation for production processes, downtime, KPIs, and output.

Requirements

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

· Minimum 15 years of experience in production, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

· Experience in manufacturing is required; experience in heavy industry including i.e, glass, cement , steel is an advantage.

· Strong knowledge of production planning, lean manufacturing, and process optimization.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

· Based location : Plant.
