Industry: Luxury Furniture & Home Décor

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the overall business and drive the company’s next phase of growth.

The ideal candidate will combine strong business and operational leadership with strategic thinking, commercial awareness, and solid experience in the furniture industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the company’s business performance, operations, and results.
• Develop and execute the company’s strategic growth plan in alignment with the Board/Ownership.
• Identify new business opportunities, markets, channels, and expansion opportunities.
• Lead and align all Directors and department heads toward common business objectives.
• Establish clear KPIs and ensure effective execution and accountability across the organization.
• Oversee commercial, operational, financial, and organizational performance.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, efficiency, and sustainable business development.
• Ensure effective coordination between Sales, Finance, HR, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, and other functions.
• Review organizational capabilities and ensure the right structure, people, and resources are in place to support growth.
• Lead major business initiatives, transformation projects, and expansion plans.
• Provide regular business performance updates and strategic recommendations to the Board/Ownership.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on growth, accountability, customer experience, and results.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive management experience, with significant experience in a senior leadership/general management role.
• Strong and proven experience in the furniture industry, preferably in furniture manufacturing, retail, or a vertically integrated furniture business.
• Strong understanding of the furniture market, production, supply chain, retail, sales, and commercial operations.
• Proven track record in business growth, strategy development, and execution.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including understanding of P&L, budgeting, profitability, and business performance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple functions and manage senior-level stakeholders.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to translate strategic plans into measurable business results.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a relevant field. MBA is a plus.
• Excellent command of English.
