A company operating in the field of restaurant and hotel management and operations is looking for a Purchasing Officer to join its team. Tasks and Responsibilities: Execute purchasing operations for restaurants and hotels. Purchase and monitor food raw materials, beverages, and operational supplies. Deal and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best price, quality, and supply terms. Continuously search for new suppliers and conduct price and offer comparisons. Follow up on purchase orders and deliveries to ensure adherence to schedules and quantities. Coordinate with warehouses, cost control, accounts, and operational departments. Monitor market prices and changes in raw material costs. Ensure that purchases comply with the required specifications and quality. Requirements: Previous experience in restaurant and hotel purchasing is a mandatory requirement. Good experience with suppliers and food and operational supply markets. Strong negotiation and price comparison skills. Proficiency in Excel and purchasing and inventory software. Experience in Oracle / Materials Control (MC) systems is preferred.
