The ideal candidate will be constantly assessing the systems in place to ensure that they are both safe and operating efficiently. This candidate will be comfortable managing a team and conducting analysis in order to highlight areas for improvement. This candidate should also be comfortable ensuring necessary utilities are working correctly and possess strong organizational skills in order to keep track of multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities:

Ensure production equipment operates efficiently by supervising and performing equipment maintenance on a daily basis.

• Supervise on new projects such as new machines' installations and new investments.

• Develop and implement daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance inspections/schedules. Maintain records of all production equipment.

• Maintain the spare parts inventory at the appropriate levels using SAP system. •

Keep equipment manuals available, current, and orderly.

• Instruct maintenance and production personnel in equipment start-up procedures and machine operation. Train engineers and technicians in Troubleshooting Skills.

• Coordinate with supply chain sector of purchasing parts used in the repair or preventative maintenance of equipment and facilities.

• Analyze equipment failures; determine causes and direct necessary adjustments or repairs.

• Review maintenance requests with the Plant Manager. • Establishing a general plan for preventive maintenance of the mechanical equipment, and follow-up the implementation process to maintain their efficiency.

• Planning for the volume and specifications of the required mechanical spare parts to reduce the machines downtime, besides the Inventory of spare parts balances.

• Making external maintenance contracts for some devices and equipment in addition to supervising their enforcement.

• Dividing tasks between the utilities team and maintenance team for maintenance and installations work

• Activating the occupational health and safety procedures for workers through company policies by coordination with the HR & Industrial Engineering departments.

• Put a training plan for the crew to improve their practical and technician skills

• Evaluating of employees through annual reports by coordination with the Human Resources Department.

• Assure that the department's KPIs' are reached.

• Prepare the new capex files to be added to the new budget, creating the needed purchase requests.

• Creating WBSs for the new projects through SAP.

• Follow the opex files to assure the recorded amount are matching the budget files.

• Updating the layout for the upcoming investments according to the future plan.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 8-10 years supervisory experience with heavy machinery, production lines or related fields
• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
• Ability to identify and solve inefficiencies in processes
• Strong Leadership Skills
