Raw Material Planning Specialist
Horreia Food Industries is seeking a highly qualified Raw Material Planning Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze production plans and translate them into accurate raw material and packaging requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure the constant availability of required materials.
Determine reorder points and economic order quantities (EOQ) to prevent overstocking or material shortages.
Coordinate continuously with the Procurement Department to follow up on purchase orders, shipping, and delivery schedules.
Prepare periodic reports on inventory turnover, stagnant materials, and variance analysis.
Work on reducing waste and optimizing inventory cost efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor degree in a relevant field (preferably in Business Administration).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in material planning or supply chain (preferably in the food industries sector).
Full proficiency in working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and numerical data analysis.
High ability to plan, organize, solve problems, and perform under pressure.
