We are seeking a Curriculum and Learning Experience Specialist to design, develop, and continuously improve high-quality educational programmes and learning materials.

The role combines curriculum development, instructional design, programme innovation, multimedia integration, assessment design, and academic quality assurance. The successful candidate will work closely with subject matter experts, instructors, designers, and internal teams to create engaging, practical, and academically rigorous learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop programme proposals, outlines, curricula, syllabi, learning outcomes, and detailed course structures.
• Create and edit instructional materials, including presentations, lecture plans, textbooks, facilitator guides, activities, assessments, workbooks, and reference lists.
• Design engaging learning experiences for online, face-to-face, and hybrid programmes.
• Conduct learner needs analysis, competitor research, and reviews of current educational and industry trends.
• Apply instructional design principles, learning science, and appropriate interactive methods to programme development.
• Develop formative and summative assessments, marking criteria, rubrics, and programme evaluation tools.
• Integrate digital tools, videos, animations, infographics, and other multimedia resources into learning materials.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructors to ensure content is accurate, relevant, practical, and appropriate for the target audience.
• Work with visual and multimedia developers to produce high-quality learning assets.
• Review curriculum materials using approved quality assurance checklists and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Evaluate existing programmes and recommend updates based on learner feedback, instructor input, performance data, and market developments.
• Conduct pilot reviews and use feedback to improve programme content and learning experiences.
• Ensure learning materials are accessible, inclusive, culturally appropriate, and suitable for international audiences.
• Ensure programmes comply with academic partners’ requirements, accreditation standards, copyright laws, and intellectual property regulations.
• Prepare and update curriculum documentation required for accreditation, validation, and academic review.
• Recommend suitable instructor profiles and support the preparation and training of instructors.
• Maintain an organised library of approved learning materials, templates, assessments, references, and multimedia resources.
• Track programme-development milestones and provide regular progress updates to the Academic Supervisor.
• Collaborate with academic, quality assurance, programme management, creative, technology, and other relevant departments.
• Stay informed about developments in educational technology, instructional design, learning science, and academic practice.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Educational Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, learning experience design, or educational programme development.
• Strong experience developing presentations, textbooks, lecture plans, assessments, activities, and digital learning resources.
• Knowledge of curriculum-development methodologies, learning outcomes, constructive alignment, and assessment design.
• Familiarity with accreditation, academic quality assurance, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and relevant digital learning or multimedia tools.
• Strong research, writing, editing, proofreading, and referencing skills.
• Experience collaborating with subject matter experts, instructors, designers, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience in executive education, professional certification, higher education, or corporate learning is an advantage.
