Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical Technical Office Engineer based in Al Isma'iliyah, Egypt. The Electrical Technical Office Engineer will prepare and review electrical shop drawings, coordinate with other disciplines, and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. The role includes preparing BOQs and quantity take-offs for electrical systems, supporting value engineering and re-design efforts, and assisting in budgeting and estimation activities. The engineer will participate in multidisciplinary BIM coordination, resolve technical issues arising from site execution, and provide timely technical support to project and construction teams. Daily tasks also involve maintaining documentation, supporting quality control procedures, and contributing to planning and progress reporting.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Electrical Engineering skills, including design, analysis, and coordination of electrical and low current systems.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Shop Drawings and BIM-related documentation for electrical works.
• Candidates should possess experience in BOQ preparation and Quantity Surveying for electrical components and systems.
• Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Civil Engineering interfaces to coordinate electrical work with structural and architectural elements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar BIM tools, MS Excel).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information clearly.
• Previous experience in technical office work for construction projects is highly desirable.
